In class today we got into our groups and discussed our initial ideas. Jake,Crerar and myself all had a lot of different ideas which is a good starting point. By the end of the session it was clear that Jake was most interested and had the most ideas on the way in which we filmed it for example Jake really likes the cinematographic way of filming.
Jake also found these cool liquid paints called ferro fluids. Both Crerar and I found them really cool and would love to include it in the video. Ferro fluid ex:
Crerar on the otherhand had more ideas on what sort of message/image she wanted to portray. Crerar was keen on looking at the themes of teenagers experimenting with their sexuality. Although this can be controversial I think that considering we are the era of acceptance of all races/ sexuality it is very relevant.
I shared with the group a few of my ideas on recycling/recreating music,multicultures and eratic editing eg. princess nokia dragons. I also shared about 10 different songs that I think incorporate all of our ideas and they seemed pretty keen.
