Site Visitation

Yesterday, my group and I went to visit our location for the first time. We were presently surprised at how cool the location looked. Although the urban feel has slightly changed, we think that this rural/industrial look will compliment our costumes and general theme.

There were a few issues that we need to be aware of on the day of the shoot:
  • Slippery surfaces
  • Bad weather (Wellies+coats essential)
  • Deep pits
  • Metal rods sticking out

We plan to shoot hannah standing on this surface holding onto the swing rope.

This area is where we plan to film the choreographed dance. The massive wall as the backdrop will be very effective as the girls costumes will stand out in front of the wall.

  1. Excellent reflection here - god blogging this week Lucy and in relation to your shoot day next Thursday - you and your cast know what to expect! Do think carefully about the shooting schedule for the afternoon and what you want to shoot - there will be limited time on a cold damp afternoon. Advise your cast well in advance of what conditions will be like. Try to make a good shot list and stick to this. Your other blog entries need a little more care and attention paid to presentation.
