My Initial Idea 1

My first idea is based on the song Fantasy by Alina Baraz & Galimatias. The song is reasonably slow and falls under the category of chill/dub/alternative/pop.

 As the song has a very abstract/hallucinogenic feel to it, I think that using a very unusual setting would complement this genre.

The chorus starts with ''underneath the palm trees''. I though at this point there should be an obviously synthetic palm tree involved. I think mixing the idea of artificial nature and fantasy with this song will fit perfectly.

Another idea of mine was to include girls with very realistic face paint to represent wild animals. Each girl of a different culture could be given a different animal.

When I was thinking about this idea I saw all these animals (girls) dancing around the palm tree using very abstract movements. I think it would also be very effective if gymnastics was involved as it would make the animals come to life and look a lot more realistic.

The think that this music campaign would be aimed at a niche market rather then a mass market. This is because the song itself has a very modern/ chill vibe and the image I want to portray through the music video is quite unusual and would only appeal to the minority.
