Intended target audience and how will you attract them?

Our intended target audience is someone that is interested in crime, action and thriller films. They may also be interested in guns, murder, blood etc.
According to stereotypes all these interests would fall under the category or males from the ages of 15-late twenties. Things this target audience may be into is very male dominated things including the  paint balling/airsofting, crime, mafia, etc.

They would like our film as it is going to be very male dominated with the only two characters both played by males. The opening sequence is hopefully going to be very tense It will also include a sudden murder in the middle of no where which is something our target audience would definitely appreciate. We are planning on the hit-man placing a silencer on the gun just before he shoots the teenage boy. This is also something that may grip the target audience as males from 15 and above are more likely to know about the technology of guns then any other social group.

We will attract our target audience in the first two minutes as our thriller sequence is going to begin in a car and include a gun and a death. These three factors will immediately grip our audience as all the previous factors are things are target audience would be interested in seeing in a film. Another thing the audience may appreciate is the setting of where the murder will take place.It is going to be in an isolated Forrest in broad daylight. This will add an element of fear and tension, something that attracts males from ages of 15-28+.
