The day of our shoot was 26th of January. It was a bleak day so we knew we would have some issues with the rain. Previously we decided to shoot are thriller by a studio/c
ar park, but a few days before the shoot we changed the location to a car park in the surrey hills.
When we arrived we set up the camera and went over the storyboard to assure our actors were confident to what they were doing.
The shoot ran smoothly, until our battery ran out. This was a great inconvenience as it meant we had to drive back to the studio and pick up more batteries. We believe that the battery that was meant to last 12 hours, ran out so quickly, as a result of the cold weather.
Later on in the day, the same thing happened and our battery died. Luckily this came in time of our lunch break so we went back to school and had lunch whilst the batteries were charging.
When we returned to our set, it began to rain quite heavily so we decided to finish the car scene promptly so we could move into the forrest and therefore protecting the camera by the rain by the shelter of the trees.
Overall think our shot when well, the cameras were a convenience, but we worked well around it and manage to get some great shots.
